Kate Moss at Topshop Launch, 2007
The much anticipated launch of the Kate Moss for Topshop range took place at the Oxford Circus flagship store on 30th April 2007 - a date dubbed by the press as 'K-day'.

Thousands gathered outside the store in anticipation of the 8pm launch, whilst in store, Moss' friends and family gathered with fashion press to admire the collection and drink champagne in a special lounge inspired by Kate's unique style. The area was dressed with beautiful vintage furniture, lamps, rugs and vases of wild flowers.

When the countdown was almost complete, thick red velvet curtains, which had concealed the central Oxford Street window all day, parted to reveal Moss herself surrounded by mannequins wearing pieces from the collection. Shortly afterwards, Xfm presenter Lauren Laverne opened the doors to the store where shopping continued until midnight.
